This afternoon I received a wonderful message by the great team of German Telekom about my new phone connection after my move to Munich. 
First they informed me, that I will get my phone lines on July 26th, then on August 11th, 2011 and after still problems and no connections on August 14th, they want to find the mistake and make sure that I will be informed about every step they do.
So they send me a text message, minutes ago with a real interesting content. They forgot to replace the placeholder <Date> with the correct date and if I have questions about this message, I can call German Telekom at +0800 3301000 – where you spend minutes or hours on waiting lines.
After getting a new operator he asked for my phone numbers and after I told him, that it is not possible, because the numbers I received on my order confirmation already belong to a bank in Munich – he said that I will have to call again, after I received the new numbers…
Thank God! I have an Iphone and I have a Cablesurf connection for my internet – otherwise you had to wait seven weeks or longer for private postings from Munich, when I am not in the Munich office… Enjoy the rest of the day which I will spend with my Iphone and without German Telekom 
Many of you have noticed in recent days that you will find a new button on the right part of the page called “Bloglovin”.

You have to register only once with your email address and create a profile and then can track all the blogs you know and will find many interesting suggestions of new blogs.
I personally tested Bloglovin in recent days on several occasions and I really enjoyed reading, and it simplifies the search and track considerably.

Am gestrigen Tage erhielt ich als Geschenk meinen Apple TV – der 2. Generation (herzlichen Dank) -und muss sagen, dass man im Vergleich zu den bisherigen Technik-Produkten, ein wenig von Apple abhängig werden kann.
Alleine die Verpackung ist wieder elegant, sicher und sehr klein – und der erste Gedanke, hier soll nun alles enthalten sein, verflog schnell in Luft. Genau passend im oberen Bereich der Kiste ist der kleine Apple TV 2 sicher verpackt. Mit einer Größe von gerade einmal 10x10cm und einer Höhe von 2,5cm konnte ich es zunächst nicht glauben, dass die ganze Technik darin verpackt gewesen sein soll.
Unter dem Apple TV befand sich noch die Alu-Fernbedienung und die obligatorische Fernbedienung (von Apple zum Glück wieder sehr kurz gehalten) und ein sehr ordentliches Netzkabel. Danke Apple – so kann man Elektronikprodukte auch verpacken!

Das Anschließen des Gerätes geht denkbar einfach – ein freies HDMI-Kabel (nicht inklusive) nutzen, Netzkabel rein, Fernseher anschalten und schon gibt es die Begrüssungsmeldung von Apple-TV und den Hinweis der Sprache zu wählen, kurz das Kennwort des eigenen Netzwerks eingeben (welches direkt erkannt wird) und sich nach einem kurzen Update auf die neueste Softwareversion, sofort betriebsbereit befindet.
Wenn Ihr, wie ich die jeweils neueste Version von ITunes (ab 10.x) verwendet könnt Ihr ebenfalls eure bevorzugten Medien direkt vom Laptop oder regulärem Mac und PC direkt auf den Apple TV streamen und an Eurem Fernseher in Ruhe betrachten.
Besonders interessant und nützlich ist es, wenn Ihr ebenfalls wie ich, gerne amerikanische Filme und Serien im Original anschauen möchtet und Euch während eines USA Urlaubs einen ITunes-Account für den US-Store angelegt habt. Dann könnt Ihr bequem in einem Apple-Store die bekannten ITunes-Gutscheine in US-Dollar erwerben und als Guthaben auf Eurer Konto laden. Gleichzeitig könnt Ihr auch Euren Account jeweils bequem über Monatsabo erhöhen lassen. Natürlich könnt Ihr dieses auch für den deutschen ITunes-Store einstellen.

Wenn Ihr auch später zurück in Deutschland oder wo auch immer in der Welt euch aufhaltet, könnt Ihr bequem die neuesten Kinofilme oder US-Serien im Original ansehen oder herunterladen. Ich habe meinen Hauptaccount auf einem Laptop und so immer die wichtigsten Serien oder Kinofilme, die häufig in Europa noch nicht gelaufen sind, dabei.
Haltet Ihr Euch dann zu Hause auf, könnt Ihr bequem von Eurem Laptop die Inhalte Eurer Mediathek bequem über den Apple TV auf Euren Fernsehen streamen.
Noch ein kleiner Tipp: Wenn Ihr den Apple TV mit Fernbedienung verwendet und der Laptop nicht zu weit entfernt steht, kann es passieren dass die Fernbedienung beide Geräte gleichzeitig steuert – also unter Einstellungen -> Sicherheitseinstellungen -> Infrarot deaktivieren.
